I put fresh new gas in it and wound out the gears out a few times and it runs much better now. Almost feels like something mightve been clogged and beating it's ass a few times was all it needed. Thanks for yalls help. 🤙
Thanks for the reply man.
The Cycle X progressive springs description says that they pair with the shorty shocks that they sell. Their shorty's are 11.3" which is 2" or more shorter than the factory shocks. So, to me, this implies that the springs also lower the front but I don't understand...
I've heard this too but just like you, I don't understand how it works. If you install shorter springs but compensate with a spacer that takes up the same distance you removed, how the hell is it lowering anything.

I was finally able to buy the Delkavic 4 into 1 exhaust and install it on the bike this weekend. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of weight savings I gained by removing the factory 4 into 4.
Factory Senkei 4 into 4- 46.9 lbs
Delkavic 4 into 1- 13.5 lbs
Total weight...
Bump. Anybody got anything? The maiden ride of my bike is coming up in less than 2 weeks (waiting on a seat to arrive) and I want to be sure it's safe to ride.
So...
I've got an '82 CB750K. I bought the Cycle X progressive front fork springs kit. If I install the new spring/ washer/ spacer/ fork cap without cutting the top spacer down at all, am I even lowering the front at all?
I installed 13.0" eye to clevis rear shocks and I'm trying to determine...
I'm sure some of you have seen the YouTube video that this screen shot is from and I'm hoping someone can identify either who makes these clubmans or point me in the direction of finding a set that wraps around the center of the forks like this. I really like how they aren't too wide and just...
While continuing the post buy inspections on my bike (cb750k '82), I noticed that the lower shock mount bolt appeared to be a tad bit bent. I decided to remove it to see just how bent it was and discovered that not only did it have a slight bend, but it's also just an all thread bolt. Some of...
I'm super grateful for this information. Thank you so very much.
When installing the spring into the fork tube, should the tighter end of the progressive spring go up or down?
Dude, you're the man. Thank you for answering my question. My heads been spinning over this damn spring swap for a few days.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I should be able to just center stand the bike, prop up the front for full fork extension and a little more off the ground, unscrew...
Does anyone have clear instructions on how to install the shorter progressive fork springs from cycle x? I've watched a ton of videos and I'm very confused as to what order things go in. Spacer first? Then washer? Then spring? Or spring first, washer, and then spacer?
While removing the rear shocks on my 82 750K, I noticed that the welded on bung and stud mount is different thicknesses on the left and right side. Has anyone ever seen this or know anything about it? Is this from the factory or is this some backyard shade tree special?
That bitch is CLEAN. I'll be following your build. I just picked up an 82 750K. Feel free to hit me up for anything during your build. I'm only 2 weeks into mine so far.
Well, I think I've decided to start a build thread for my bike after getting a little more engagement on this forum than I expected. I've only posted here once so far and have commented on someone else's very in depth build here on this forum, so I'll catch you up to speed in this new thread...
Is the C tank a direct bolt on replacement? I really like the shape of it. As far as comfortability, what sort of setup do you have with those tanks? Rearsets? Aftermarket handle bars? I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I just installed some clip on handlebars to bring the handles back towards...
Well, I've been thinking about it quite a bit and I think I've settled on buying the brat style seat from TUFFSIDE. I fancy the distressed brown material with the saddle color stitching and will be getting a matching grip set. However, I will admit, I'm beginning to feel a bit overwhelmed with...
It's funny you say that. As I was removing everything to take accurate measurements for my seat, I kept catching myself standing back and thinking "damn... that tank really doesn't look BAD".
